Inner Mongolia, China's first provincial-level region, hits over 100 million kilowatts installed capacity of new energy. This milestone is expected to generate 230 billion kWh of green electricity annually, saving 70 million tonnes of standard coal and reducing over 190 million tonnes of CO2 emissions. The region plans to add another 40 million kilowatts of new energy capacity this year, surpassing thermal power one year earlier than planned.
