Governor Tim Walz announced six finalists for two vacant seats on the Minnesota Supreme Court. If he selects two women, it will mark a majority of women on the bench for the first time since 1994. The finalists are Lisa Beane, Elizabeth Bentley, Court of Appeals Judges Keala Ede and Theodora Gaïtas, Stearns County Judge Sarah Hennesy, and Liz Kramer. The decisions will be made by the end of this week.
