Aviation entrepreneurs Des and Ulick McEvaddy have proposed a €2.2 billion third terminal concept plan for Dublin Airport to Fingal County Council. The proposed Western Campus includes a new terminal building, car parking facilities, cargo terminal, hotel, and office space. The McEvaddy brothers' development aims to address future passenger growth beyond the current 32 million annual cap at the airport, which Dublin Airport Authority has submitted an application to increase to 40 million by 2030.
