Congress leaders met the Election Commission of India (ECI) to complain about the BJP's advertisement campaign, accusing it of maligning the opposition party with cropped and distorted videos. The Congress party requested the ECI to take immediate action against the authors of the campaign and issue instructions for recall. The party also filed a complaint against the alleged violation of the Model Code of Conduct in Andhra Pradesh and demanded the removal of Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's photo from state schemes advertisements.
