BBC Radio 2 listeners protest Paddy McGuinness's new Sunday show, replacing Michael Ball, citing his "kiss of death" reputation.
BBC Radio 2 listeners are upset over Paddy McGuinness being given a new Sunday show, between 11am and 1pm, from June, replacing Michael Ball. Critics claim McGuinness has a "kiss of death" and has caused the downfall of shows he's been involved in, such as the revamped Question of Sport in 2021. McGuinness previously covered the pop quiz "Ten to the Top" on Radio 2 and has recently filled in for Rylan Clark.
