Adidas has blocked the sale of personalized German football uniforms featuring the number 44 due to concerns that the design resembles a symbol used by Nazi-era SS units. The company issued a statement explaining that they are against xenophobia, anti-Semitism, violence, and hatred in all forms. The German Football Association (DFB) has also halted delivery of kits with the number 44 from its own online store.
