Former NFL player Cameron Sutton, a 29-year-old former Detroit Lions cornerback, turned himself in to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office in Florida after an arrest warrant was issued on charges of domestic battery by strangulation. Sutton had been evading law enforcement for over two weeks after the warrant was issued on March 7th. The Lions had released Sutton from the team while his arrest warrant was active.
