3 University of Calabar students abducted, police collaborating with other agencies for rescue.
The Cross River State police confirmed the abduction of three University of Calabar (UNICAL) students from a hostel on campus. The students, identified as Ojang Precious Ebejin, Ugwu Chukwuemeka, and Damilola Dickson, were studying Medicine and Surgery, Genetics and Biotechnology, and the same department, respectively. The police spokesperson, Superintendent Irene Ugbo, stated that they are collaborating with other agencies to rescue the students.
