United Arab Emirates' Higher Colleges of Technology (HCT) and Mohammed Bin Rashid Space Centre (MBRSC) have initiated the development of HCT-SAT 1, UAE's first student-led space mission. The Earth-observation CubeSat project, set to launch by end-2024, offers expert training and support in CubeSat curriculum to 34 students from various engineering disciplines. The partnership aims to enhance UAE's position in space exploration and science, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence among youth for the country's space sector.
