Transgrid has modified its route for the VNI West high voltage power line project in NSW after receiving feedback from communities and landowners. The project aims to connect the national grid with renewable projects like wind and solar farms in rural areas. Following community input, Transgrid is working to narrow down the planned route of the power line over the next two years, ultimately targeting a final 70m-120m easement for the 500kV overhead transmission line.
