Kolkata: Two retired Airbus A319 planes from Air India were transported on tractor trailers to Punjab, drawing attention along the Belgharia Expressway. The planes, which have been in storage for over five years, are set to be converted into aircraft-themed restaurants by local businesses. This follows the sale of five retired passenger aircraft by Air India as scrap.
