Due to heavy rainfall and a sudden storm in Guwahati, a portion of the ceiling at Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport collapsed, leading to the temporary halt of flight operations and the diversion of six flights to other destinations. The Adani Group-controlled facility experienced a tree blocking a road outside, as well as water gushing into the airport and damaging the roof. No injuries were reported during this incident.
