Kiama residents from Seaview Estate Retirement Village lodged a petition with the Municipal Council regarding concerns about a new 1000-home development potentially using their privately-owned Arnold Crescent road as a thoroughfare. They are worried about possible excessive speeds and heavy plant movements leading to accidents. The Springside Hill developer, Traders in Purple, stated there are no plans to use the road.
