Jetstar launched a new Sydney-Busselton route in March, based on the success of its Melbourne-Busselton service introduced in 2022. The flight operates three times a week with an Airbus A320 aircraft. Busselton, located in Western Australia's south-west, is part of the famous Margaret River wine and gourmet region. In its first month of operation, the Hilton Garden Inn Busselton had an 80% occupancy rate.
