Cambodia's famed Angkor records 47 per cent rise in international tourists in Q1.

Cambodia's Angkor Archaeological Park saw a 47% rise in international tourists in Q1 2024, with 347,534 foreign visitors compared to 236,341 in the same period last year. Revenue from ticket sales increased 48% to $16.5 million in Q1 2024 from $11.1 million in the previous year. The park, located in Siem Reap province, is home to 91 ancient temples built between the 9th and 13th centuries and is inscribed on UNESCO's World Heritage List.
