Foreign investors sold a net RM435.1m worth of equities in Bursa Malaysia, a 38.6% increase from the prior week. Local institutions remained net buyers for a fifth consecutive week with a net purchase of RM587.7m, while local retailers continued to be net sellers at RM152.7m. The highest net foreign outflows were recorded in financial services, consumer products and services, and plantations sectors.
