5 Chinese nationals killed in a terrorist attack in Pakistan were farewelled at a ceremony, and their remains were returned to China on a Pakistani military plane.

A farewell ceremony for five deceased Chinese nationals killed in a terrorist attack in Pakistan was held at Nur Khan airbase in Pakistan. The remains of the victims were flown to Wuhan, China on a special Pakistani military plane. Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, attended the ceremony and expressed hope in finding the truth of the incident and severely punishing the perpetrators. The Chinese side is committed to supporting Pakistan in combating terrorism.
