Chinese associations in Malaysia urge sustainable practices during Qing Ming, addressing waste and environmental concerns.

The Federation of Chinese Associations Malaysia (Huazong) recommends offering incense or flowers instead of burning joss paper and suggests taking food offerings home after prayers to avoid food waste.
