76% of children in a study by the National Trust and First News want more time in nature, with 56% desiring better access to it. A poll of 1,000 children aged 7-14 and 1,000 parents found that most parents (80%) agree that the government should ensure children are no more than a 15-minute walk from green spaces. The findings support PM Rishi Sunak's January 2023 plan to ensure everyone lives within 15 minutes' walk of green space or water.
