400+ Canadian artists, including music stars Tegan and Sara, have signed an open letter denouncing "anti-trans" policies in parts of Canada. The letter, released on Transgender Day of Visibility, criticizes policies proposed by Alberta Premier Danielle Smith, as well as similar policies in New Brunswick and Saskatchewan. The artists are against school-based pronoun policies and proposed bans on hormone therapy, and are calling on all levels of government to put a stop to such harmful legislation.
