On April 1, 2024, State Bank of India temporarily suspended online banking, UPI, and app services for Annual Closing activity; ATM and UPI Lite remained functional.
State Bank of India (SBI) temporarily suspended internet banking, Yono Lite, CINB, Yono Business Web, and Mobile app services, along with UPI services, between 12:20 PM and 03:20 PM on April 1, 2024, due to its Annual Closing activity. UPI Lite and ATM services were still available during this period. Many banks across India closed on April 1 due to closing year accounts, as per RBI guidelines.
