1 April, China set its central parity rate of the yuan against the U.S. dollar at 7.0938.
On April 1, the China Foreign Exchange Trade System announced central parity rates of the Chinese currency renminbi (yuan) against 25 major currencies, including a strengthened rate of 7.0938 against the U.S. dollar. The central parity rate of the yuan against other currencies is determined based on the central parity rate of the yuan against the U.S. dollar and applicable exchange rates.
