88-year-old Walter Tauro, a retired real estate agent from Markham, Ontario, has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's oldest kidney transplant recipient. Tauro underwent the procedure at St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto in 2020, after being on dialysis for four years. He received a kidney transplant despite concerns over his age, and is now enjoying life with his family.
