Niger State Police apprehended a suspected gunrunner, Mustapha Ishaku, and seized three locally made AK-47 rifles in Minna. The 21-year-old welder was caught attempting to sell one of the fabricated firearms. Police investigations led to the discovery of two additional rifles at a residence in the Mandela area. This arrest is part of efforts to combat the spread of illicit firearms in the region.
