17-year-old Hannah Zupp, an Oxley College graduate, grew mushrooms for her HSC project, which has become one of the best in NSW. Her project, titled "The roots of illumination," involved growing mushrooms and using them in lamps made from shredded recycled tree trunks. The innovative project was displayed in the SHAPE exhibition, featuring top major projects in Design and Technology, Industrial Technology, and Textiles and Design.
