A woman was found dead in a residence in Ajax, and a man has been taken into custody in connection with the case, according to Durham Regional Police. Police responded to a call at a home on Shoal Point Road and Bayly Street E. at around 11:05 p.m. on Saturday, where they discovered the deceased woman. The man on the scene was arrested, but no further information has been released at this time.
