Gisborne police cracked down on "anti-social" drivers, impounding 10 vehicles and issuing over 50 infringements between Easter Friday and Saturday. During this time, officers also caught three people driving under the influence and three driving while suspended. In addition, drivers caused damage to local roads, and the police believe some fake 111 calls were made to divert attention from their activities.
