A South Carolina couple, stranded on a small island off the coast of Africa, were left behind by their Norwegian Dawn cruise ship after missing tender boats to return to the ship. The couple and several others are trying to reunite with the ship at another African port, but the process has been complicated. Norwegian Cruise Lines stated that the responsibility to return to the ship and any necessary travel costs to rejoin at the next available port fall on the passengers.
