Odisha state government announced morning classes from April 2 for students of Class I to XII in all schools due to rising temperatures and heatwave conditions. The classes will be held from 7 AM to 11.30 AM in government, government-aided, and private schools to mitigate the heatwave situation during summer. The School and Mass Education department also directed schools to arrange drinking water and make other necessary arrangements for students.
