Jammu-Srinagar National Highway reopened after 15-hour suspension due to landslides in Ramban district.

Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, the only all-weather road linking Kashmir to the rest of India, reopened after a 15-hour suspension due to landslides caused by overnight rains in Ramban district. Landslides occurred at Kishtwari Pather and Mehar-Cafeteria Morh, disrupting traffic. The highway reopened at 4 pm, allowing stranded vehicles to move. However, heavy motor vehicles are banned from 4 am on Monday to 7 am on Tuesday due to unstable conditions.
