Hertfordshire NHS dentists are encouraged to delay routine appointments to 12-24 months if clinically appropriate, aiming to make more appointments available for adults and children across the county. While Hertfordshire is "well-served" for NHS dental services compared to other areas, the report acknowledges difficulties in finding an NHS dentist, especially in deprived areas and for men aged 18-34. Patient charges for dental treatment are set to increase from April 24.
