4 family members, including an infant, died of asphyxiation after a fire broke out at their home in the Devbhumi Dwarka district of Gujarat, India, on Sunday. The blaze began on the first floor of the house, where the family members were sleeping, and extinguished the power supply to the house. Firefighters found the family members lying unconscious on the first floor and declared them dead after taking them to a government hospital. The cause of the fire is suspected to be the overheating of an air conditioner.
