SpaceX launched Eutelsat 36D satellite to GEO on 30 March 2024, replacing EUTELSAT 36B at 36° East for 15 years.

Eutelsat 36D satellite successfully launched by SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket on March 30, 2024, entering a Geostationary Transfer Orbit (GEO) from Kennedy Space Center, Florida. Based on the Airbus Eurostar Neo platform, it will replace EUTELSAT 36B at the 36° East orbital position, providing optimised performance for video customers and additional flexibility and coverage options. The satellite's service life is designed for 15 years.
