57-year-old Merseyside woman dies after assault outside Palace Hotel, Isle of Man; 53-year-old suspect arrested.

A woman from Merseyside has died after being assaulted outside the Palace Hotel on the Isle of Man's Central Promenade. The 57-year-old was visiting the island when she was involved in an altercation around 9:20pm on Friday. She was taken to Nobles Hospital, where she later died. A 53-year-old man from Merseyside has been arrested in connection with the woman's death, with police believing the two were known to each other.
