88-year-old Massachusetts man died after being hit by a car in a parking lot moments after receiving coffee with another man. The incident occurred on Park Avenue near Parker Street. The driver, a 69-year-old man, reportedly accelerated backwards and then forwards, striking the older man. The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators. Worcester police continue to investigate the accident.
