60-year-old cold case of Daisy Shelton's murder in Dayton has been solved. The Miami County Prosecutor's Office approved closing the case, after a witness in their deathbed confessed to detectives about a man killing Shelton with a hammer, dismembering her body, and discarding parts in bodies of water. The suspect, who lived and worked on the same street as the victim, is now deceased at 92, preventing prosecution.
