Wisconsin's Democratic Governor, Tony Evers, vetoed 41 Republican-backed bills, including a $3bn tax cut and a proposal to allow schools to hire superintendents without education licenses. He signed a bipartisan bill providing $400k for Holocaust education and a bill to increase the number of mental health crisis centers. Evers has vetoed more bills than any governor in Wisconsin history during his time with a Republican-led Legislature.
