2024 Paris Olympics: Versailles Palace Gardens to host equestrian events, preserving historic site.

Versailles Palace Gardens are being prepared to host Olympic equestrian events (dressage, showjumping, cross-country, modern pentathlon) during the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Temporary grandstands, stables, and tracks will accommodate up to 40,000 spectators, with a focus on preserving the historic site. After the Games, all temporary facilities will be removed, leaving the site undisturbed.
