Protester Sreejith verbally abused Kerala CM using a microphone, charged under IPC 294(b).
A protester, Sreejith, was booked for verbally abusing Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan using a microphone in front of the Secretariat. Sreejith, who has been staging a protest demanding a CBI probe into the alleged custodial death of his younger brother, was charged under Section 294(b) of the Indian Penal Code. The police confiscated his microphone, with further proceedings yet to be decided.
