Escaped Oklahoma inmate, Preston Whittington, has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison after he admitted to carjacking during his escape from the Jackie Brannon Correctional Center in 2021. Whittington, who was serving a kidnapping sentence, assaulted a victim, stole their vehicle, and led police on a high-speed chase before crashing and stealing another car. His 15-year sentence is the maximum for the charge.
