The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) will begin work on I-40 east of Albuquerque and US Highway 84/285 in Tesuque next week. The I-40 repaving project, starting April 1 near Edgewood and Moriarty, will take about 15 working days with crews working from 7am to 7pm on weekdays. NMDOT advises drivers to be cautious, watch for workers, and follow posted speed limits.
