The New York Yankees have acquired right-handed pitcher JT Brubaker from the Pittsburgh Pirates in exchange for a player to be named later and international bonus pool allotment. Brubaker, 30, missed the entire 2022 season after undergoing Tommy John surgery. In his last full season in 2021, he recorded a 4.69 ERA in 28 appearances, setting career highs with 28 starts, 144 innings, and 147 strikeouts.
