3 Montana residents, Nikolas Loren Pellant, Lynsi Noel Barnes, and Beau James Breneman, have been sentenced to over five years in federal prison for trafficking fentanyl in the Missoula and Helena areas. The trio, who pleaded guilty in November, received sentences of five years and three months in prison followed by five years of supervised release. Their drug distribution operation involved selling fentanyl in Missoula, acquiring the drug through mail and by making trips to Spokane, Washington.
