A dress worn by Marilyn Monroe sold at auction for eight times its estimated price, fetching over £250,000. The pink Pucci gown, with a rope and crystal tassel belt, was previously listed for between £31,710 and £47,559. The dress, made for Saks Fifth Avenue by Italian fashion designer Emilio Pucci, has been sold along with other Monroe-owned items and memorabilia from the Playboy archives and Hugh M Hefner Foundation.
