Indian Air Force reveals BrahMos missile accidental firing into Pakistan in March 2022 due to combat connectors.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) has revealed to the Delhi High Court that the accidental firing of a BrahMos supersonic missile into Pakistan in March 2022 occurred due to the missile's combat connectors remaining connected to the junction box. The IAF shared findings from the March 2022 Court of Inquiry, which investigated the mishap, and stated that the incident had an adverse effect on relations between India and Pakistan. The accidental firing led to a loss of ₹25 crore to the government exchequer.
