Gilas Men were eliminated from the FIBA 3x3 Asia Cup KO stage after consecutive losses to Australia (21-13) and Japan (22-12). Coach Mau Belen experienced her first early elimination in the tournament. The Philippines' women's team, Gilas Pilipinas Women, advanced to the quarterfinals after defeating Mongolia (19-8) and Malaysia (17-10) in the preliminary round, topping Pool C.
