A worker was rescued after being trapped in a 20-foot-deep trench that collapsed at a construction site in Paulding County, Georgia. Emergency crews from Paulding and Cobb counties responded to the incident on Persian Ivy Way and worked for over two hours to extract the worker, who was buried up to his chest. The man appeared to be relatively unharmed and was transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
