Douglas County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal car crash on 230th Street where a driver died after their Chevy Impala crashed into a tree at 11:30am. The driver, found unresponsive, was removed from the vehicle and attempts at CPR were made, but the driver was declared deceased at the scene. Speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash, and the driver's identity has been withheld pending the investigation.
