Botetourt County firefighters battled multiple brush fires on Friday caused by downed power lines and fallen trees, with two contained and efforts ongoing for another in the Buchanan area. The fires in the Eagle Rock area were under control and contained, while the Buchanan brush fire remains active. High winds are suspected to have caused the downed power lines and fallen trees.
