Maharashtra ATS arrested 5 Bangladeshi nationals in Navi Mumbai for illegally residing without valid documents. The accused, aged 22-49, were employed as masons. The operation was conducted at two locations in Ghansoli by the Vikhroli unit of the ATS. The suspects were detained under India's Foreigners Act of 1946 and the Passport (Entry into India) Rules of 1950. A probe into the case is ongoing.
